The girls bought me Chinese food tonight. I was amused by the fortune cookies. The 1st said, "The smart thing is to prepare for the unexpected." The next one said, "The most direct approach isn't always the best." The last one said, "You were born with the skill to communicate with people easily."
We can learn much more if we close our mouths and open our ears!!! It amazes me how much age can effect this ability. Maybe its just me, I enjoy hearing others as much as myself. Some of the students in my class seem to prefer hearing themselves and are not willing to listen to anyone else. OOOOOHHHH to be young again....

ReplyDeleteSaw an amusing ad this morning. Don't remember what it was for but the tag line read, "FORGET THE CLOCK, TURN BACK THE CALANDER!" This just struck my funny.
