Wow, I thought I had this mom thing almost figured out. (Only two more years of legal obligation left.) Oh how wrong I am!!! My teenager has just informed me that I am not able to care for him and my granddaughter simotaneously. He screamed at me that I don't care about him because I choose to spend one day a week focusing on her. Go figure...his brother will be very hurt by this if teenager tells him that. I understand that teenagers are naturally selfish, but I don't get the angry jealousy. :(
He is 16 and she is 3. I am involved with his educational planning, I choose not to date until he is an adult, I tell him I love him often. Really??? what else can I do to show my support??? I'm so disgusted I can't even look at him without wanting to say inappropriate things to him.
